Life Legacy

Lena Smith was born February 13, 1953 in Forrest City, Arkan- sas to John B. Smith and the late Jessie Mae Smith. She passed from this earthly life on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She graduated from Lincoln High School and then attended Crowley Ridge Tech-nical School, where she received her childcare license. She retired from the Forrest City Head Start, where she worked for a number of years.

Lena was a member of the Saints Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Michael Johnson. She served there as a member of the Saints Temple Choir, a member of the Usher Board, and served on the Hospitality Board.
