Biography

"But the just man, though he die early, shall be at rest. For the age that is honorable comes not with the passing of time, nor can it be measured in terms of years. Rather, understanding is the hoary crown for men, and an unsullied life, the attainment of old age..."

Terry Searcy was born November 29, 1970 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Percell Searcy, Sr. and Bertha Edwards Searcy of Forrest City.

He professed a hope in Christ at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Madison, Arkansas. Later he united with the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church (presently Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church) in Little Rock, Arkansas. After moving to Chicago, Illinois he joined New Day Baptist Church. When he moved back to Little Rock, Arkansas he united with Scope Ministries Christian Fellowship Church under the leadership of the Reverend Elvin Jackson where he remained until death.

Terry graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a member of masonic Lodge ABC #15 and a certified CDL operator. Having a passion for driving 18 wheelers, he traveled the country side for many years, communicating with drivers saying, "This is 'Triple One', come back."
