Life Legacy

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

Ambrose Collins Germany was the third of four children born to the union of Willie and Camille Germany on February 24, 1975. He departed this life on November 29, 2009. He was loved and raised with his siblings Geraldine, Dexter and Aaron Germany. He attended schools in the Helena-West Helena district and obtained a GED after pursuing services within job corps. He later moved to Little Rock, AR where he worked in general construction.

During his childhood, Ambrose accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Silver Cloud Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Cedric Pride. Later in his adult life, he joined Greater First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Arthur Hughes, Jr. Ambrose recently returned home to the Helena-West Helena area to be closer to his family and joined Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Early Hale.

August 23, 2003, Ambrose united in holy matrimony to Venise Coleman after a long courtship and they shared their lives together. His wife has stood by his side and cherished her role and fully committed herself to the duties of a wife.

Ambrose was a husband, father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, cousin and a loving friend to anyone he met. He never met a stranger because he always greeted everyone with a smile, good time and joyous memories with his unique character, love, style and demeanor. He was a fun person to be around because he always brought life and of course “dancing” into whatever was going on. His nature was addictive. Once you got a connection with him, you could never let go. We will never forget his famous “bark”. If you were connected to him, you know what we are talking about.

THE FAMILY OF AMBROSE COLLINS GERMANY WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST FOR THE CITY OF HELENA-WEST HELENA, ARKANSAS TO STOP THE VIOLENCE!!

Friends and relatives are invited to post messages and share memories in the guestbook. All entries will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours (except on holidays). Entries submitted on Friday & Saturday may not be posted until the following Monday.
